EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - El Paso Police say they found several drugs including meth, heroin, cocaine, marijuana and tetrahydrocannabinol (wax) during a traffic stop early Sunday morning in Northeast El Paso.
EPPD officers made a traffic stop on a 1995 Chevrolet Trailblazer in the 5800 block of Deer around 12:45 a.m. Sunday morning when the officer noticed that the vehicle allegedly didn't have a license plate properly displayed.
During the stop, EPPD made contact with a passenger in the vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Alyssa Nicole Estorga. They allege that they located .42 ounces of marijuana and 36.05 grams of Tetrahydrocannabinol - otherwise known as 'wax' - where she was sitting.
Further investigation revealed that Estorga was allegedly in possession of 7 grams of meth, 7.53 grams of heroin and 1.5 grams of cocaine.
She was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance over 1 gram, three counts of possession of controlled substance over 4 grams and possession of marijuana under 2 ounces. She was booked into the El Paso County Detention Center on bonds totaling $95,300.
According to court documents, Estorga was scheduled for a plea hearing on July 17 on possession of a controlled substance arrests from earlier this year.
