68-year-old man struck in weekend hit-and-run has died

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - The 68-year-old pedestrian that was struck in South-Central El Paso by a hit-and-run driver Saturday evening has died, according to police.

The man, who has has yet to be identified by police, was walking south on Clark St. around 7:45 p.m. when he was hit by a car that was speeding along Cleveland and ran the stop sign.

Police believe that the driver of the car was a man driving a faded black 1990's model sports car. The car is said to have front-end damage.
