Billboard campaign aims to solve Border Patrol agent death

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - The FBI announced a digital billboard campaign Thursday, in hopes of identifying anyone with information on the death of U.S. Border Patrol Agent Rogelio 'Roger' Martinez on Nov. 18.

The campaign highlights the reward of up to $45,000 for information leading to a resolution into Martinez's death and the injury of another U.S. Border Patrol agent that happened off of I-10 near Van Horn.

According to the FBI, the new billboard campaign will cover the entire Southwest Border including Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico and Texas.

Anyone driving through Van Horn on I-10 from 10 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Nov. 18 is asked to contact the FBI with information.

The campaign is a partnership with ClearChannel Outdoor and Lamar Advertising.

You may contact the FBI by calling 1-800-CALL=FBI (1-800-225-5324) 24 hours a day.
