Chick-fil-A hosts toy drive, will give free sandwiches to donors

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Going to Chick-fil-A just got even better!

All free-standing El Paso locations of the chicken chain are partnering up with Operation H.O.P.E., a local non-profit that helps people in need, to host their fourth annual toy drive.

Customers who bring a new, unwrapped toy from Dec. 18 through Dec. 22 will receive a free Chicken Sandwich for each donated item.

According to a news release, there is a $5 suggested donation value and a limit of five sandwiches per person.

All donations will go to the Pediatric Unit at University Medical Center and children in need in the area.

The following El Paso locations will participate this week:

  • Chick-fil-A at Mesa Street (7597 N. Mesa St.)
  • Chick-fil-A at Zaragoza Rd. (91840 N. Zaragoza)
  • Chick-fil-A Montana Ave. at Joe Battle (12240 Montana Ave.)
  • Chick-fil-A North Hills Crossing (10721 Gateway South Blvd.)

"We look forward to the presentation of the toys and seeing the joy on the faces of the people who are touched by our community's generosity," Chick-fil-A Operator Edgar Ortega said.
