El Paso moms hope to break world record in 'Big Latch On' event

EL PASO, TEXAS - El Paso moms and their children could help break a world record tomorrow at Basset Place.

This is to bring awareness to the importance of breastfeeding and to break the world record for the most women breastfeeding simultaneously.

The 2017 'Big Latch On' is a synchronized breastfeeding event in tandem with the global Big Latch On. It's free to the public, will feature free resources, exhibitors, door prizes, and the opportunity to chat with local breastfeeding women and advocates.
   
This event is organized by the Binational Breastfeeding Coalition and is supported by El Paso maternity facilities, medical and nursing schools, maternity/baby stores, and advocacy organizations.

The Big Latch On will be August 5, 2017 at Bassett Place, located at  6101 Gateway Blvd.

Registration begins at 9:00 a.m., followed promptly by the latch on countdown at 10:30 a.m., which
lasts for one full minute
