Investigators believe suspects may have Snapchatted crime

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - El Paso County Sheriff's Office investigators are asking for help identifying two people who may be responsible for dumping rocks into the gas tank of a parked truck while Snapchatting the crime.

Deputies were called to the Tequila's Ballroom in the 100 block of Indian Head Rd. in Tornillo on Sept. 2 in reference to a criminal mischief incident. The victim told deputies that their white Chevrolet pickup had been damaged by two people.

Investigators say one of the suspects removed the gas tank cap and reportedly dropped rocks into the tank while the second person recorded the scene with their phone and possibly shared it through Snapchat.

Sheriff's investigators are asking anyone with information to contact EPCSO at (915) 851-3287.
