LC woman sentenced on federal meth, heroin trafficking charges

LAS CRUCES, NM (KTSM) - A 35-year-old Las Cruces woman was sentenced to 51-months in federal prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to conspiracy to possess methamphetamine with intent to distribute last year.

Leticia Maria Rodriguez, 35, plead guilty on May 10, 2016 after a criminal complaint alleged that law enforcement located approximately 65.8 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia during the execution of a search warrant.

Rodriguez also admitted that she got the meth from a source of supply and had the intention of selling the meth to others. In addition to the meth located inside her home, 43.3 grams of heroin.

Rodriguez was sentenced to 51-months in prison for the guilty plea. She will also serve three years of supervised release after her prison sentence.
