At the Drive-In singer claims actor assaulted his wife

(KTSM/NBC NEWS) - The lead singer of El Paso-formed rock band At the Drive-In says his wife is among the women accusing former "That 70s Show" actor Danny Masterson of sexual assault.

"My wife is one of Danny Masterson's rape victims." Cedric Bixler Zavala said in a tweet last month, adding, "Of course Danny being the scumbag he is outed her by name a while ago with the help of his ding bat publicist."

Bixler also claims the Church of Scientology, of which Masterson is a member, has been harassing the couple.

On Tuesday, Netflix announced Masterson has been ousted from his current show "The Ranch." His departure comes amid mounting pressure over claims by four women who have accused the star of rape.

Masterson has denied the allegations and blamed the current climate of sexual harassment in Hollywood for the resurfaced claims. The Los Angeles County District Attorney and Los Angeles Police Department are currently investigating.

"I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix's decision to write my character off of 'The Ranch.' From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me," Masterson said in a statement given to NBC News.

"Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit. I have never been charged with a crime, let alone convicted of one."
