One person seriously injured in East El Paso crash


Traffic along I-10 East and Yarbrough has been reopened following the investigation into the multi-vehicle crash that left one person with critical injuries. 


El Paso Police are on the scene of a crash involving multiple vehicles with serious injuries on I-10 eastbound near Yarbrough.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. and was the second crash of the morning to occur in the same stretch of road. EPPD's Special Traffic Investigations Unit was called to the scene.

El Paso Emergency services say four people were taken from the scene to an area hospital. One of those had life-threatening injuries and the other three had non-life threatening injuries. 

All traffic must exit at Yarbrough as they work to investigate the crash. 

Police say drivers should avoid the area until at least 12:30 p.m. as STI investigates.
