Twenty-Four DWI Arrests Made over Christmas Weekend

El Paso, Texas (KTSM) - El Paso Police say that they arrested twenty-four people over four days Christmas weekend for DWI related offenses.

Their increased DWI patrol began Friday, December 23 and lasted through Monday, December 26 in the evening.

EPPD says the breakdown is as follows:

Friday, December 23 - 4 DWI, 1 DWI With Child Under 15 Years Old in Vehicle, 1 DWI - Blood Alcohol >.15

Saturday, December 24 - 3 DWI, 3 DWI- Blood Alcohol >.15, 1 DWI With Child Under 15 Years Old in Vehicle, 1 DWI 3rd or more.

Sunday, December 25 - 3 DWI, 1 DWI 3rd or More, 1 DWI - Blood Alcohol >.15

Monday, December 26 - 1 DWI, 3 DWI- Blood Alcohol >.15, 1 DWI 3rd or More

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety also had an increased DWI Patrol over the holiday weekend, but have not released the results of their investigations yet.
