One dead, two seriously injured in Northeast El Paso rollover crash

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - UPDATE:

A woman has died and two others are seriously injured following a rollover crash in Northeast El Paso Tuesday afternoon.

According to police, the accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of Gateway North and Mesquite Hills.

Police say a woman failed to stop at the stop sign and hit a Jeep that was driving east on the Gateway.

The collision caused the Jeep to roll over, ejecting its driver and passenger. The passenger, a 33-year-old woman, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the two drivers involved, a 33-year-old man and 63-year-old woman, were taken to University Medical Center for treatment.

The El Paso Police Department's Special Traffic Investigators unit continues to investigate the crash.
