EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Rising country music star Brett Young will kick off this year's Let Freedom Sing concert series at Freedom Crossing on May, 13 with openers Mitchell Tenpenny and El Paso's Valerie Ponzio opening.
The concert will be held at Freedom Crossing beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 13th and is free and open to the public.
Young was recently named one of Shazam's 'Emerging Artists of 2017' and struck gold with his number one debut single 'Sleep Without You." The follow-up single, 'In Case You Didn't Know," has just been released on country radio and has already hit number 1 on SiriusXM's The Highway.
The California native has a tour with Braid Paisley under his belt and upcoming tours with Luke Bryan and Lady Antebellum in 2017.
El Paso's Valerie Ponzio, whose soulful rendition of Johnny Cash's Ring of fire turned four chairs on this season of NBC's The Voice will be opening the show.
Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy food and beverages and get the best spot on the event lawn. No coolers or outside food and beverages are permitted.
