Teens arrested for car burglary in Northeast El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - El Paso Police arrested two teenagers for burglarizing a car in Northeast El Paso just after midnight Tuesday, the department announced in a news release.

According to the release, officers responded to a call of "subjects pulling on vehicle doors handles" on the 4500 block of Loma Linda.

The two suspects, both 15 years old, ran away when police approached them. Police say one suspect was caught and detained after a brief chase, while the second was located on Thursday.

According to police, both suspects have had their case of Burglary of Vehicle, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Evading Arrest or Detention referred to the Juvenile Probation Department.

Investigators say the items the teenagers stole have been recovered.
