Virtual reality is now being used to help you feel safe while you're at work.
The Texas Mutual Insurance Company is using virtual reality to train workers on preventing workplace accidents.
The training is called "Safety in a Box" and will imitate common casualties at the workplace.
Officials said by using virtual reality, workers can get a first-hand experience, that they can't get any other way.
"People will be able to go in and using video, actually, experience a trench cave in, experience a fall from heights, electrocution, and also being struck from a falling object," Jeremiah Bentley, Texas Mutual V.P. of Marketing & Customer Engagement.
Officials said using virtual reality will be more effective for workers than just watching training videos.
