Three arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Deputies arrested three people Wednesday for Possession of Controlled Substance, the El Paso County Sheriff's Office announced in a news release Friday.

According to EPCSO, a narcotics investigation led deputies to conduct a traffic stop and search of a vehicle, in which they discovered 25 grams of Methamphetamine. The two occupants were then taken into custody.

Officials say deputies later conducted a follow-up at their last known location and made contact with a woman. Upon executing a search warrant, deputies seized drug paraphernalia, prescription pills, Marijuana, and counterfeit money.

According to EPCSO, the alleged offenders were arrested and charged with the following:

  • Salvador Munoz, 30: Possession of Controlled Substance over 4G under 200 G and Forgery Govt/National Instrument/Money
  • Angel De La Rosa, 25: Possession of Controlled Substance over 4G under 200G
  • Lorenzita Huerta, 26: Possession of Controlled Substance over 4G under 200 G, Forgery Govt/National Instrument/Money/Security, and Prohibited Substance/Items in Correctional Facility

All three were booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
