Woman dies following Tuesday morning rollover

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - A woman from Washington state has died after a rollover that happened on Gateway South and Transmountain Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just after 10:45 a.m. when police say that 59-year-old Elizabeth Cline of Edmonds, WA was driving a 2010 Ford Ranger east on Transmountain and ran the red light at Gateway South.

Cline's truck was hit by a southbound 2007 Chevrolet truck driven by Cady Wenefrenda, which caused Cline's truck to rollover before coming to a rest against a concrete barrier.

According to police, Cline was rushed to University Medical Center where she later died as a result of her injuries.

EPPD says that this is te 37th traffic related death of 2017 compared to 46 during this same time period in 2016.
