El Paso, TX - Due to popular demand, the El Paso Chihuahuas have added a postgame Fireworks Spectacular to the Sunday, July 2nd game as part of the GECU Independence Day Celebration versus the Reno Aces (Arizona Diamondbacks). Gates open at 6 p.m. with first pitch slated for 7:05 p.m.
The Chihuahuas encourage fans to purchase their seats in advance. Purchasing early gives fans a savings versus walk-up prices. GECU Green Seats start at $5 and reserved seats start at $9 with advance purchase and $12 on the day of the game. A limited number of seats and Standing Room Only remain for July 3rd.
Military personnel past and present will receive a special rate for Zone K, L, & E as well as Standing Room Only with valid ID. Tickets may be purchased either in person or via GovX.com to receive the military pricing.
The addition of the July 2nd fireworks extends the GECU Independence Day Celebration to three days of pageantry and fun and caps off an eight-game homestand. The weekend begins with Saturday’s Fireworks Spectacular presented by KVIA and KISS FM and continues through Monday, July 3rd. All three displays are choreographed to patriotic music and the July 3rd celebration includes an extended fireworks program.
Fans can buy tickets at EPChihuahuas.com or in person at the Durango Box Office. The box office is open Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
