Jones, Packers to Face Lions on Monday Night Football

El Paso, TX - The Green Bay Packers will host the Detroit Lions in a key game Monday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.  This will be the first Monday Night Football game for former UTEP/Burges running back Aaron Jones, who leads the Packers with 346 yards and three touchdowns.  Aaron has been averaging 5.6 yards per carry. Aaron spoke to the media last week about his role as a starter.

"I mean it means a lot," said Jones.  "Coming here at this level, getting a role like that right away, it's something I did in college, but to get it to happen this fast is pretty cool.  I mean that was my goal, any athlete should set goals, but I didn't think they would happen this quick."

6:30pm Monday night, Green Bay hosts Detroit.
